Why builders use them
Trades hiring is hard, and a job post rarely says much more than pay and location. A short video from your own crew answers what candidates actually want to know: what a normal day looks like, who they would work with, and whether people stay. It also helps with interns and apprentices, who often find employers through social video.
Interviews that sound natural
Good recruiting videos come from simple questions asked on site: how did you start in the trade, what's a project you're proud of, what would you tell someone thinking about joining. We cut the answers into a story, remove the long pauses, and keep the voices sounding like the people who said them.
What you get
- A careers page video of one to two minutes.
- Three to five short clips for job posts and social, each built around one person or one answer.
- Captions on everything, since many people watch on mute.
Consent and names
Get a signed release from everyone on camera before you send the footage, and tell us how each person wants their name and role shown. We'll leave anyone out who asks.
Questions
Can we film on phones?
Yes. Use a cheap clip-on microphone if you can; clear sound matters more than a sharp picture for interviews.
Can you add job-site b-roll?
Yes. Send any footage of the crew working and we'll use it to cover cuts in the interviews.
Got a hard drive full of job-site clips? Tell us what the project was, what you shot, and where the video will be shown.
