Why reveals work
A before and after is the simplest story a remodeler can tell. The viewer sees a tired kitchen, a few seconds of demolition and work, then the finished room. It fits the length of a reel and makes sense with the sound off, which is how most people scroll.
Formats we cut
| Format | Length | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Quick reveal | 7 to 15 seconds | Reels, TikTok, Stories |
| Process reel | 20 to 45 seconds | Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts |
| Side by side | 15 to 30 seconds | Facebook, your website |
How to shoot the before
The reveal only works if the before and after line up. Stand in the same spot, at the same height, pointing the same way, and film both on the same phone. Mark the spot with tape if the project runs long. A few seconds of the work in between (demo, cabinets going in, tile being set) makes the reveal feel earned.
Captions and branding
We add large captions inside the safe area so the platform's buttons don't cover them, your logo at the end, and a short line on what was done. If you post often, we can set up a consistent caption style so every reel looks like yours.
Questions
Can you make reels from old projects?
Yes, if you have before photos or clips. Stills can be turned into short motion shots, though matching angles makes the biggest difference.
Do you post them for us?
No. We deliver the finished files and suggested captions; you or your marketing person posts them.
Got a hard drive full of job-site clips? Tell us what the project was, what you shot, and where the video will be shown.
